Fantasy football news and context for Auburn.
SEC Teams
Alabama just poached a wide receiver from Auburn four weeks after he committed to the Tigers. Kirby Smart lost his No. 1 coaching rank to a guy from Indiana. Lane Kiffin is already on a CFP-or-bust clock. Standard July.
Steve Sarkisian insulted Ole Miss's diploma, Kiffin responded by trying to steal his entire recruiting class, and Alabama is ranked last in the SEC in recruiting. It's a great time to be alive and extremely online about college football.
Lane Kiffin signed a $91 million deal to get AWAY from Ole Miss, and yet here we are in mid-June watching him post deleted tweets about fan fights while the Rebels do community service PR ops. This rivalry is not okay.
Lane Kiffin gave a four-hour interview to Vanity Fair and somehow made every Ole Miss fan, every LSU fan, and the entire state of Mississippi feel some kind of way simultaneously. Welcome to June, when college football has no actual games but generates maximum chaos.
Chaz Coleman is back in Knoxville — maybe — and his future with Tennessee 'remains a mystery.' Lane Kiffin is sorry, kind of. And SEC coaches just spent a week at a beach resort failing to agree on literally anything.
Ed Orgeron is back in Baton Rouge, the NAACP just put every major SEC school on blast, and apparently the conference that wrote the NIL rulebook is also the one most aggressively ignoring it. Happy 100 days to kickoff, everybody.
